The Division of Forensic Sciences has created various kits available for the collection of evidence or DNA Databank reference DNA samples, outlined below.  All kits can be obtained through Document Sales and Distribution.  Searches on the Document Sales and Distribution website can be made by product number, keyword, or scrolling through a complete numerical listing for the Wisconsin Department of Justice.   To place an order a login and password must be created.  Information about all orders can be accessed through the log in used to order kits.  Any questions about how to use the site should be directed to Document Sales and Distribution at 608-266-3358 or 1-800-362-7253.

Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Kit:  Evidence collection kit used for sexual assault victims and suspects for submission to the DNA Analysis Unit at the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory.  ($0, SKU 1205-15D)

Biological Stain Collection Kit: For use by law enforcement at a crime scene for the collection of biological stains for submission to the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory.  ($8.74, SKU 1206D)

Medical-Forensic Drug Facilitated Sexual Assault (DFSA) Kit:  Sexual assault investigation kit for the collection of toxicology (blood and urine) samples for submission to the Toxicology Unit at the Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory.  ($0, SKU 1207D)

Wisconsin DNA Database Offender Collection Kit (50 pack):  For the collection of reference DNA samples from convicted offenders and a subset of arrestees for submission to the DNA Databank.  Quantities are monitored by the DNA Databank and are limited to a 3 month supply per agency.  Please direct any questions about the order quantity to DNADatabank@doj.state.wi.us($0, SKU 1209B)
