Equity and Inclusion

The Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) is committed to the principles of equity and inclusion for all employees. The agency seeks to develop and support a vibrant workforce with diversity in race, ethnicity, gender identification, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, national origin, age, physical ability and marital status.

DOJ has developed an Equity and Inclusion Plan and pledges its best good faith efforts to achieve the goals of the plan. This plan includes affirmative action and improvement in the agency’s commitment, recruitment, retention and culture.

DOJ recognizes that equal employment opportunity is a legal, organizational, and economic necessity to maximize the quality and diversity of the state’s workforce. The plan reflects the principles of DOJ and it places into action the agency’s intent to be a better and stronger organization, one that is truly diverse, inclusive, and equitable.
