AG Kaul Ends Use of “Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Acknowledgement” Form at DOJ

Mar 12 2019

MADISON, Wis. – Attorney General Josh Kaul announced today that the Wisconsin Department of Justice (DOJ) no longer requires all employees to sign a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Acknowledgement form.

“It’s important that we lead by example,” said Attorney General Kaul. “With today’s announcement, we are re-affirming the importance of transparency in government.”

In 2017, DOJ began requiring all employees to sign a “Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Acknowledgement” form. DOJ stopped requiring new employees to sign the form earlier this year, and yesterday Kaul informed DOJ staff via email that “DOJ employees are no longer required to sign that form.”
