Luke BergLuke Berg started his career at the Wisconsin Department of Justice as an assistant attorney general in the Special Litigation and Appeals Unit before being appointed Deputy Solicitor General by Attorney General Brad Schimel in November 2015.  After law school, Berg clerked for Judge Diane S. Sykes on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and worked for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in Washington, D.C., immediately before joining DOJ.


Berg is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he studied computer science, math and philosophy. Before earning his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from New York University, Berg was a web developer and designer.
