WSCL Drug Cases

This dashboard provides a distinct count of drug types identified by The Wisconsin State Crime Laboratory (WSCL) Controlled Substances Section per case. Drug Groups are counted for each case in which the identified drug group was present. For instance, if one case tested positive for THC and Cocaine, both THC and Cocaine would receive one tally.

Notes:  Cases that are open at the time the data was last updated are not included. Cases are counted once the case is closed (when a report is issued) and grouped by the year in which they were closed. The counts include residue cases. Cases without a county identified are excluded from the dashboard.

How to: All graphics can be selected to be used as a filter. For example, to see all drug types identified in Milwaukee County, click on Milwaukee County on the map and the two other graphics will adjust to show only the Milwaukee County data. To select multiple filters, hold the Ctrl button while making selections on the dashboard. To clear, release the Ctrl button and click on a blank portion of the dashboard to reset.
