Safe at Home is offering four advanced training opportunities for current application
assistants to deepen their knowledge of the Safe at Home program.

These training sessions will focus on in-depth safety planning as it relates to participation in Safe at Home. The intended audience is currently designated Application Assistants or those who were previously designated and wish to renew their designation.

Each training session will last approximately 2.5 hours and will be conducted virtually. Advocates will work with Safe at Home staff and their peers to develop knowledge and responses to safety planning scenarios based on real-life examples from participants. There will be large group discussion, as well as small group work. Due to the structure of the training, sessions will be limited to between 30-40 participants.

Interested Application Assistants do not need to register for more than one event - content will be repeated.
