Sexual Assault Victim Services (SAVS) Grant

The SAVS grant is a sexual assault grant provided by the Wisconsin Department of Justice.  To be eligible for a SAVS grant, an applicant must be a nonprofit or public agency that provides or proposes to provide the following services to sexual assault victims:

 

  • 24/7 Crisis line telephone services
  • Personal, legal, and medical advocacy services
  • Information and referral services
  • Support groups
  • Community outreach and prevention education
  • Accessible services

The Wisconsin Department of Justice Office of Crime Victim Services (OCVS) is inviting you to join in a discussion about the recently passed AB 940 Victim Services Funding Bill. OCVS, in collaboration with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), will provide an overview of the bill, review state statute and eligibility for 165.93, 49.165, and 165.96, and offer an opportunity for collaboration and questions from our partners.
