DOJ Partners with DOC on Drug Abuse Prevention
On April 23, 2014, through a joint effort by the Wisconsin Departments of Justice and Corrections, an inmate panel from Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center in Union Grove visited Monticello Middle School to share with students their experiences with drug abuse.
Take Part in the Next Rx Drug “Take-Back” Day
By dropping off your unused, unwanted or expired Rx drugs, you can help prevent Rx drug diversion and misuse. Get rid of your unused Rx drugs at the upcoming Prescription Drug Take-Back Day April 26, between 10 am and 2 pm. Through aggressive enforcement, education and community participation, we can save lives.
Attorney General’s Summit on Public Safety
The 2014 Attorney General's Summit on Public Safety will look at two crimes that affect communities across Wisconsin -- heroin abuse and domestic violence. This year’s Summit will explore how we can continue to partner to address these threats to Wisconsin families.
