  • DOJ Partners with DOC on Drug Abuse Prevention

    On April 23, 2014, through a joint effort by the Wisconsin Departments of Justice and Corrections, an inmate panel from Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center in Union Grove visited Monticello Middle School to share with students their experiences with drug abuse.

  • Attorney General Van Hollen Introduces New Website Dedicated to Medical Forensics

    In April, AG Van Hollen announced a new DOJ website dedicated to facilitating training and technical assistance for professionals who practice medical forensics. Healthcare professionals are among the first to come to the aid of sexual assault victims.

  • Drug Detection Canine "Storm" Remembered by the DOJ

    Storm, a yellow Lab, began his service to the Lake Winnebago Area MEG Unit in 2006 as a narcotics detection canine.  The Unit’s dedicated partner is being remembered for his work after being put to sleep on Friday, May 9, 2014, due to an ongoing illness and severe seizure.
