Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen and The Crime Victims Council to Host This Year's Crime Victims' Rights Week Ceremony
 

Ceremony Tomorrow in the State Capitol Rotunda (Balcony Level) at Noon

 

MADISON — Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen and the Wisconsin Crime Victims Council will hold their annual Crime Victims’ Rights Week Ceremony tomorrow in the State Capitol Rotunda (balcony level) at noon. This year, the 2014 Champion of Victims’ Rights Awards will be presented in honor of many who have gone above and beyond in their support of victims’ rights in Wisconsin.

 

In addition to remarks by Van Hollen, tomorrow’s ceremony also will include remarks by Menomonee Falls Chief of Police/Crime Victims Council Chair Anna Ruzinski; a DVD screening titled “30 Years: Restoring the Balance of Justice” by the U.S. Department of Justice; remarks by Jill Karofsky, Director of the Office of Crime Victim Services at the Wisconsin Department of Justice; and presentation of the Champion of Victims’ Rights Awards.
