Gustavo Zamarron Herrera Charged With Two Counts of Possession of Child Pornography
ARCADIA - A Wisconsin Department of Justice - Division of Criminal Investigation special agent's undercover operations on the Internet recently led to the arrest of Gustavo Zamarron Herrera.
On 8/26/2009, Agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation, with assistance from officers of the Arcadia Police Department, and the Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant at 504 Sobotta Street, Apartment #2, Arcadia, WI. According to the criminal complaint, an investigation revealed that Gustavo Zamarron Herrera had viewed and received numerous images of adult and child pornography via his computer. He would delete the images of pornography after viewing them because he didn't want his girlfriend to discover them.
According to the criminal complaint Zamarron Herrera claimed that he deleted the child pornography images, but an on-scene analysis of his computer hard drive revealed several images of child pornography.
Zamarron Herrera was arrested at the scene and transported to the Trempealeau County Jail pending formal charging by the Trempealeau County District Attorney's Office. Zamarron Herrera was charged with 2 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Zamarron Herrera is currently unemployed. He is a Mexican citizen.
