Kipley S. Schultz of Fall Creek Arrested
FALL CREEK - On March 9, 2009 special agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force along with the Eau Claire County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Kipley S. Schultz at 8721 9 Mile Creek Road in Fall Creek, WI after a Division of Criminal Investigation special agent in an undercover capacity found a computer that was available to share images of known child pornography with other computer users.
An investigation revealed that the computer at Kipley Schultz's residence was being used to facilitate the trading and/or possession of known child pornography. DCI Agents obtained a search warrant for Schultz's residence. Numerous computers and computer related media were discovered at the residence. Schultz spoke with agents and confessed that he had been downloading and possessing child pornography for the past 3 years. Schultz told Special Agents that he felt he had a "Sexual Addiction."
An on-scene preview of Schult'z computer hard drives and peripheral computer media revealed numerous videos of child pornography. Schultz admitted that his computer may contain up to 500 videos of child pornography.
Schultz was arrested at the scene and transported to the Eau Claire County Jail pending formal charging by the Eau Claire County District Attorney's Office. Schultz was arrested for 13 counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
