John M. Lang of Manitowoc Arrested
MANITOWOC On July 24, 2008, law enforcement officers from the Wisconsin Department of Justice and Manitowoc County Sheriffs Department, executed a search warrant at the residence of John M. Lang, based upon information provided by the United States Department of Homeland Security-Immigration and Customs Enforcement. During a search of the residence, computer hard drives and computer equipment were seized. Subsequent forensic examination of the computer hard drives identified sexually explicit images of children.
According to the criminal complaint, during an interview, Lang admitted to using Google Hello to engage in chats. Chats had been recovered that contained child pornography attachments during the course of the investigation, which led to the issuance of the search warrant at Langs residence.
Lang was charged on May 28, 2009 with 12 counts of possession of child pornography in Manitowoc County.

A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. The prosecution must prove its allegations at trial beyond a reasonable doubt.
