BARABOO - On Wednesday, July 08, 2009, Special Agents from the Wisconsin Department of Justices Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI), along with members from the Sauk County Sheriff's Office and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) executed a search warrant at the residence of James C. Anderson, located at 210 East St, Baraboo, Sauk County, WI.
Seized as a result of the search warrant were forty seven (47) computer hard drives, two (2) laptops, miscellaneous computer medium, miscellaneous VHS tapes, four (4) cameras and miscellaneous documents. According to the criminal complaint during a preview of two (2) of the hard drives, numerous images and videos depicting children engaged in sexually explicit conduct were recovered; some of which depicted the sexual abuse of children as young as infants and toddlers.
Questions concerning this case should be directed towards the Sauk County District Attorneys Office.
A defendant enjoys the presumption of innocence. The prosecution must prove its allegations at trail beyond a reasonable doubt.
Mr. Anderson was arrested and charged with 15 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography. A copy of the criminal complaint is available
