Probable Cause Found In Milwaukee County Securities Fraud Case

 

Milwaukee - Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced today that Gregory Garro, 54, and Sandi Kindig, 47, of Princeton, Wisconsin, were bound over for trial on February 11, 2009, in Milwaukee County on three counts of securities fraud. State of Wisconsin v. Gregory J. Garro, Milwaukee County Case No. 08-CF-3777, and State of Wisconsin v. Sandi Kindig, Milwaukee County Case No. 08-CF-3778.

 

Garro and Kindig are accused of making material omissions of fact in statements concerning their offer and sale of securities to a Milwaukee County woman during 2002 and 2003. The securities totaled approximately $78,000.

 

The next court date will be an arraignment on April 22, 2009, before Judge Richard Sankovitz, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Branch 29. A trial date has not yet been scheduled.

 

At this stage of the proceedings, the charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
