Documentation

TIME System (legacy) Description of TIME and its history.  Interface specifications and other reference material.
eTIME (XML-based Law Enforcement telecommunication system) Background and description of the project to bring Internet standards and availability to CIB's TIME system 
Criminal records Livescan and cardscan equipment connect to the state AFIS and Criminal History record repository.  NIST Mugshot best practices documentation, ATN format, transmission protocols, and data edits.  Also a link to DHFS for statutes prohibiting caregiver employment.
XML development materials CIB's project "eTIME" will use XML-formatting exclusively for all transaction initiators and response messages on Wisconsin's law enforcement telecommunication system.
Joint Task Force on Rap Sheet Standardization The JTF developed a rapsheet standard using EDI-style tags (like the electronic fingerprint record).  This standard was never implemented.  JTF is now in the process of working with other related justice interests to develop an XML version of the rapsheet.
Legal XML/IJIS -- ARREST WARRANT The "arrest warrant" is one of documents for which the national IJIS workgroup wants to create an XML standard.  A proposed model is published here.
SEARCH The national consortium for justice information and statistics.
LAW Federal and Wisconsin State rules, regulations, statutes, and law that define the operational authority of CIB. 
NIST-ITL The ANSI/NIST Data Format for the Interchange of Fingerprint & SMT Information is under formal review by NIST.  A ad-hoc workgroup has developed a proposal for an XML representation of this standard.
