Laboratory Supervisor Bio:
Kim Vonnahme was appointed as Laboratory Supervisor of the Wausau Crime Laboratory in 2010.
She began her career with the Madison Crime Laboratory in October of 1990 as a Controlled Substances analyst and transferred to the Wausau Crime Laboratory when it opened in 1991.
Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Truman State University (Northeast Missouri State University).
Kim is an ISO assessor with the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors/Laboratory Accreditation Board, and is a member of the American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors, the Association of Forensic Quality Assurance Managers, the Midwestern Association of Forensic Scientists, and ASTM International.
