The name of the state or province in a corporate name which sets the name of the corporation apart from other corporations having similar names should be included where feasible; for example, Standard Oil Company (New Jersey), Standard Oil Company (Ohio), Standard Oil Company of California. Commas and periods should not be used. Parentheses should be replaced with hyphens if punctuation is necessary. Initials may be included but with periods omitted. If initials constitute the full name, the name should be written without intervening spaces or periods.
