Scars, marks, tattoos, birthmarks, deformities, missing body parts and medical devices, etc. which would be of assistance for identification or elimination purposes are to be entered in the Scarmark Field. Scars, marks, tattoos, etc., which are entered in the Scarmark Field may be more specifically described in the Remarks Field.
Only the coding (abbreviations) in the tables listed in the Code Manual is to be used.
