Query Type

An inquiry containing type (TYP) data will limit the search to those security entries having the same type code or type code “AO.” Use of “AO” pulls any record having a matching SER and DEN, regardless of the type of code in the record.  An inquiry containing the word BLANK in the DEN field will only pull records that are entered with the word BLANK in the DEN field.  AN inquiry containing a face value in the DEN field could pull records that have a matching DEN or the word BLANK in the DEN field.
