Query of NCIC Number

TIME users can query a specific boat or boat part record by querying the number the computer file assigns to that record. Because stolen boats are stored on NCIC’s Stolen Boat File, the record may be queried using that record’s NCIC Number. A positive response would generate only the record associated with the NCIC number even if there are multiple records associated with a serial number or other identifier.
