Querying the DNR Person Files

The general guideline to query a record is to use all the available data. The following data items may be used in a query of the DNR person file:

•      Name, sex, race and date of birth

•      Social security number

•      DNR number

•      Customer ID number

Depending on the data combinations present, the message may query the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) Driver Files, the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) Files, Crime Information Bureau (CIB) Files, and National Law Enforcement Telecommunications System (NLETS) Files, along with the DNR Files.
