OAR/OWS change effective 05-01-02

On May 1, 2002, the final part of 1997 ACT 84 became law. A charge of OWS is a civil forfeiture. A charge of OAR is criminal.

When citing a person for OAR/OWS/OWD, prior convictions for OAR/OWS/OWD with violation dates within the past five years are counted as prior offenses.
