Multiple Entries on Same Person by the Same Originating Agency

The TIME System Warrant/Wanted Person File is designed to accept an unlimited number of entries for the same individual entered by the same “ORI” provided the case number is different. NCIC only accepts one warrant/missing person entry on an individual per ORI.

Where there are multiple warrants for the same individual, a notation may be made on one warrant entry indicating the existence of the other arrest warrants. For multiple warrant entries, enter the most serious offense The bond amount field should still represent the single warrant entered and a total bond amount may be included in the Remarks Field.  The Date of Warrant Field and Offense Fields should represent the one warrant entered with additional warrant dates and offenses in the Remarks Field.
