Make Code when Gun Not Found in Tables

Except for U. S. military issue weapons, when the make of a serialized firearm is not listed in the Code Manual, place the code ZZZ in the MAK Field and enter the make of the firearm as the first item in the MIS Field. Recovered gun entries containing MAK/ZZZ will be rejected because data cannot be entered in the MIS Field of these records.
