Group Reference Capability

The Group Reference Capability (GRC) provides information about gangs and terrorist organizations. Law enforcement agencies may enter information about the gang or terrorist organization itself, or may query this file to obtain general information about such an organization.

The GRC enables the on-line entry and retrieval of records for qualifying gangs and terrorist organizations by group and subgroup name. While providing limited group identifying information, the main feature of the GRC is to identify those agencies which are willing to provide more details on a particular gang or terrorist organization. Therefore, multiple agencies may be listed as references in a single record.
