The state has been divided into the following geographical areas for TIME System messages (listing is by county but includes all jurisdictions with TIME access within the county). All areas include the TIME System Control Center (TSCC) automatically. Agencies may send messages to multiple area destinations, but to no more than eight. Use the four-character mnemonic following the area identifier to send administrative messages to the agencies listed in the area.
The same categories and rules used for all points bulletins are to be used when considering an AREA/HIGHWAY broadcast; the difference being that the information in the message pertains to a specific area of the state rather than having state or nationwide significance. The area broadcast can be sent by an individual agency, it is not to be requested through TSCC.
