This entry will place a protection order/injunction record in the Crime Information Bureau and entry will be automatically forwarded to the NCIC Files. The following are data items that are mandatory on protection order and injunction file entries:
• Court information: Court ORI, court case number, type of order, beginning date and ending date
• Respondent information: name, sex, race, date of birth, height, weight, and hair
• Petitioner information: name
• Basic information: ORI, agency case number, operator
In the original entry, all available data called for in the record must be entered. Missing data obtained at a later time should be promptly added through the use of a modify message.
