Duplicate License Plates

When a hit is received from CIB remember: A search of the Vehicle File is by plate number only.  Duplicate plate numbers may occur and are issued for different types of vehicles (TK, PC, MC, etc.) with the plate types, state of issuance and/or year of expiration different. The “hit” may not be for the correct vehicle.
