Contempt of Court Warrant/ Failure to Pay

Warrants may be issued for contempt of court or failure to pay fine; specifying the wanted person must either pay a fine and/or serve time in jail. These warrants are sometimes referred to commitment orders.

The entry of such a warrant to the Wanted Person File is made using the offense code for contempt of court.  The original offense must then be listed in the remarks field.
