Coding of Specific First Names

The “first names” listed below have a unique coding in the driver license number. In order to get a response; you must spell the names exactly as listed below. The following list of names must be spelled exactly to get a response.

All other names use only the first letter for the coding process. A search of other names may be done using only the first letter of the name, sex and date of birth or the name may be keyed as shown on the product issued or in our records. Keying the first name as “Jon” instead of “John” will not retrieve the correct record. Middle initial will also change the record information you receive from an inquiry.
