This type of message is to be used when the record is deemed inactive. A warrant/wanted record can only be cancelled by the originating agency (ORI). The following data items are required to cancel warrant/wanted person: name, system identification number, and case number. The name must be exactly the same as it appears on the original entry, including spelling.
