This type of message is to be used only when all or part of the supplemental data is invalid yet the entry itself is valid. This message key may be used only by the “ORI” which originally made the entry.
To cancel a supplemental record it must be identified by system identification number, case number, and name. Name must be exactly the same as it appears on the original entry, including spelling. These data items are used to identify the supplemental record to be cancelled. These three data elements should be followed by the data item(s) to be cancelled.
When an Identity Theft File record is canceled, its entire supplemental record is automatically canceled.
