The Stolen Boat File is maintained at NCIC.
The Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has established a computerized Boat Registration File. The Boat Registration File is the responsibility of DNR and all messages regarding DNR File information should be directed to the DNR’s Manual Records Terminal (RDNR). “WS” precedes all Boat Registration Numbers assigned by DNR and “WS” must be used to obtain registration information. Any inquiries will generate a Registration File check as well as a Stolen Boat File record response.
