Basic Certification

Instruction is provided in a classroom atmosphere or is available online through the Internet.  It will include TIME System functions of queries to the data files, Criminal History Record Information and administrative messages. These operators must be able to interpret file responses from NCIC, NLETS, CIB, CPIC, and NICB, as well as unsolicited messages such as hit confirmation, and locate notification notices. This certification authorizes the individual to use eTIME and terminals/computers with MDT/MDC limited capabilities, in addition to full access terminals.
