Additional Guidelines for Group Security
Modification
When serial numbers are used as
identifiers for a consecutively serialized group record, the lowest and highest
of all serial numbers appearing in the existing group record, must be
used. For example, if a record in file was entered with the serial numbers
DD99888977-DD99888985, and serial numbers DD99888977 and DD99888978 have been
cancelled, the serial numbers used to identify the record would be
DD99888979-DD99888985.
