Additional Guidelines for Group Record Modification

When serial numbers are used as an identifier for a consecutively serialized group record, the lowest and highest of all serial numbers appearing in the record must be used. For example, if a record in file was entered with the serial numbers 82310-82330, and serial numbers 82319-82323 had been recovered, the serial numbers used to identify the record would be 82310-82330.
