The TIME Advisory Committee was created as an ad hoc group in October of 1971 to express the views and needs of municipal, county, and state law enforcement agencies. The primary responsibility of this committee is to ensure the coordination of operational information needed at the local, state, and national level. This user’s advisory committee meets periodically with the Director of the Crime Information Bureau to ensure that needs and problems of the system and users are adequately explored. The TIME Advisory Committee is involved with procedural recommendations, policy development, and operational problems but is advisory only. Representatives of the following law enforcement organizations are members of the TIME Advisory Committee:

2. Wisconsin Chief’s of Police Association
3. Wisconsin State Patrol
4. Badger State Sheriff’s Association
5. Wisconsin District Attorney’s Association
6. Wisconsin Department of Corrections
7. Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources
8. Wisconsin Department of Transportation
9. Police Executive Group
10. Interface Agency User Group (2 representatives)
11. Milwaukee Police Department
All members of the TIME Advisory Committee are appointed to serve by the organization they represent.
