When an agency deems it necessary to move, add or change equipment it will become necessary to notify the TIME System Control Center before the date of the desired change. Agencies covered under the terminal maintenance contract should notify TSCC two months before the date of the desired change. Agencies providing their own hardware should notify TSCC in advance so TIME System messages can be rerouted during the move. All equipment moves, removals and additions are subject to a cost to the user.
If your agency is remodeling/moving to a different room, floor or building, notify CIB as early as possible to coordinate ordering or moving of BadgerNet circuits. If a building is being renovated or constructed, contact CIB before construction begins.
Anticipate changes in location. If a terminal is installed and if the agency finds the location to be impractical and the terminal has to be moved again, the move is subject to a charge to that agency.
Complete costs and instructions for ordering new equipment or requesting equipment changes are available from the TIME System Operations Coordinator, Crime Information Bureau, P.O. Box 2718, Madison, Wisconsin 53701.
