The TIME Manual is organized into separate sections with each section outlining a different aspect of system operation. All codes and data item rules that relate to a particular data file are found within the section represented by the various tabs.
The manual has its own Table of Contents, glossary and index. The fastest method for locating information is: (1) determine what general subject matter you are dealing with; i.e., query of a stolen security, entering a stolen gun, etc.; (2) go directly to the Table of Contents; (3) scan the Table of Contents for specific subject; i.e., Enter Gun etc., Query Security, etc.; (4) check page number to right of item; and (5) turn to the appropriate page number. If the information is still not located, look up the item under its general title (Guns, Boats, etc.,) in the index section.
