Wisconsin Offense Information

Statute Tables

The following Wisconsin statute tables contain the following columns:

Statute - the assigned statute number for the given offense.

Severity - the severity of the stated offense; felony, misdemeanor or non-criminal, along with the severity classification.

Literal - the literal description for the offense as found in the Consolidated Court Automation Program tables.

NCIC - the NCIC code assigned for the offense.  In cases where more than one possible NCIC code exists, the code best describing the offense should be used.  Those NCIC codes ending in 99 should only be used if non of the other available codes apply.

The statute tables are sorted by two different means, numerically by statute number and alphabetically by literal description.
