When you know that the individual has used other names or dates of birth they should be listed in this block. Maiden names are considered alias names. The master name on a given record is the primary name submitted on the first fingerprint card for that individual.
Maiden or alias names must contain both a first and a last name. If Janet Beth Aldrone marries John Smith and legally takes his name, the next fingerprint card contributed for this subject should have the name Janet Beth Smith listing Janet Beth Aldrone in the alias field. "Nee", indicating a former name, should not be included in the alias field.
