Omissions, or erroneous information will cause the material to be returned to the contributor with reason(s) for return indicated by check marks in the appropriate block(s) of the upper portion of the form.
Listed below are some of the more frequent reasons for administrative return of fingerprint cards:
• The literal charge, statute (including subsections)/ordinance number, NCIC code are not entered or the statute/NCIC does not agree with the literal charge.
• Severity of offense (felony, misdemeanor or non-criminal) doesn't agree with literal charge.
• POB/citizenship omitted.
• Illegible data.
The indicated corrections should be made immediately and the material returned to the CIB for processing.
