State Statute 165.83 (2) (h) and (i) provides that the Division of Law Enforcement Services - Crime Information Bureau assist all agencies and provide instructions whenever practicable to all agencies to establish the state system of identification and to establish efficient local records systems. Trained Field Representatives are permanently assigned full time to offer instructional assistance, monitor fingerprint card submissions, aid administrators, train identification personnel, and are available for personal contact as required anywhere in law enforcement agencies, prosecutor's offices, courts, and correctional institutions.
