VINE System: Get information about an offender's custody or release & receive notices
Web Site: www.vinelink.com

Many counties offer the WI-VINE service that will allow you to register with the County Jail for information regarding an offender in the custody of the sheriff, their status and location. The Wisconsin VINE system is a service through which members of the public can use the telephone or Internet to search for information regarding the custody status of offenders in certain counties and to register to receive telephone and e-mail notification when the offender’s custody status changes. This service is provided by county sheriffs and the Wisconsin Department of Corrections in order to keep crime victims and the public informed regarding individuals placed into the county jail. This service is not available for all counties at this time. Wisconsin VINE is anonymous and confidential.

Victims and other citizens can register for VINE (Victim Information & Notification Everyday) by calling the toll-free number, 1-888-944-8463 or visiting the web site at www.vinelink.com. You will be able to register to receive automated telephone notification and/or email notification when there is a change in the offender’s custody status.
