WI DOJ Agents Partner With Appleton Police Department and New London Police Department in Internet Crimes Against Children Operation

Jeremy J. Eckert of Appleton Arrested
APPLETON - On Thursday, November 12, 2009, Jeremy J. Eckert was arrested, without warrant, for alleged felony possession of child pornography violations.
The arrest occurred in conjunction with a search warrant which was being executed at Eckert's residence, located at 815 W. Third Street, Appleton, WI.
During a search of a computer hard drive, over one hundred sexually explicit images of children (child pornography) were observed in a folder associated with Eckert. According to the criminal complaint, during an interview of Eckert, Eckert stated that he had downloaded child pornography files using LimeWire.
Subsequent to being interviewed in conjunction with the search warrant execution, Eckert was arrested and transported to the Outagamie County Jail, by an officer from the Appleton Police Department.
Eckert was informed that investigative reports would be forwarded to the Outagamie County District Attorney's office for charging consideration.
Eckert was arrested and charged with 10 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography and 10 Counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Child. A copy of the criminal complaint is available at:
